Great question - and the answer depends on your license or designation. This course is considered a non-technical course and is a self-report course for continuing professional education purposes. Here's a quick breakdown:
Yes — We are a current CFP Sponsor and have submitted this course for official CE credit through the CFP Board and are currently awaiting final approval. We’ve aligned the content with their learning objectives and anticipate formal approval shortly.
That said, it’s important to note that many CE courses aren’t officially pre-approved. Most professionals still claim credit — and only need documentation if they’re ever audited (which is rare). We’ll provide a certificate of completion and all the supporting info you’ll need to self-report or substantiate your hours.
✔ Bottom line: You should be able to count this course toward your CFP® CE hours once approved, and possibly before then, at your discretion.
Each state’s Department of Insurance has its own rules — and typically requires CE courses to be pre-approved. At this time, this course is not approved for state insurance CE credit. However, the course can still be valuable for growing your business — even if it doesn’t count toward your compliance hours (yet).
✔ Bottom line: This is a powerful training on referral growth — but if CE credit is a must for your license, please check with your state DOI first.
Most states follow NASBA (National Association of State Boards of Accountancy) guidelines, which means official CPE credits usually come from a NASBA-registered sponsor although not required. This course follows the NASBA guidelines but is not a registered course with them. -Most states allow you to self-report hours under informal or non-technical categories such as this course. Most professionals still claim credit — and only need documentation if they’re ever audited (which is rare). We’ll provide a certificate of completion and all the supporting info you’ll need to self-report or substantiate your hours.
✔ Bottom line: If you’re a CPA looking for official CPE credit, you’ll want to verify with your state board. We provide completion certificate of completion documentation if you choose to self-report.
Ultimately, it’s up to you to make sure you’re in compliance with your CE requirements and to report your hours accordingly. We’re here to help and will provide all the documentation you need to back up your participation.
